Life gives you lemons.......

What can I say I wish I didn't need to work.   But I do so not a lot of time for me to craft lately.

I haven't finished my niece's quilt and now I have another niece that is due in October.

Husband is trying to get his BP under control so
So he can have his knee replacement surgery.

 Just found out on Friday that our 11 year old yorkey is diabetic so have spent the whole weekend working with her.

My best and I did go to a craft show two weeks ago and yes I bought all types of goodies.  Then on monday after my surgery, was that 24 hours of craft items on HSN and again I bought so hopefully soon I can get down in my dungeon and craft..

Make Some Time

I am so bad about posting.

I do get to my craft room some times but bad about letting you guys know what I am doing.

I have joined a card making kit club and have been learning different techniques.   Some I like and some I do not.

I am making another baby quilt, my niece that got married last July is expecting her baby in April.

We have 2 guys on our fire department that are also expecting so I don't know how much time I have.

My job is super busy, I work for Prime Time Party Rental in Moraine, Ohio.  It is fun but we are in the process of putting micro chips in all our linen and boy do we have alot of linens.

I am trying to get money built up so I can take off work and have surgery on my left arm tendinitis and boy is it painful.

I will make an effort to get downstairs and post some pictures.

I know its been quite awhile since I posted

So many
Thing have happened. We had our very dear friends living with us for a couple of months last fall they have a wonderful beautiful house sitting on 8 acrers its a 45 minutes
 Drive from our house but is so peaceful out there.

I have made some quilts for new babies and I'm in the process of making one for my newest



Great nephew who was born on august 18 of 2013 hope to finish it this coming week   my husband bought me a new tablet that I am trying out to post on. Sorry its been while hope to get back into the swing of thing

Starting to Craft

Things have been tooo busy for me lately.

Hubby went to Iowa to take care of his dad after heart surgery, everything went well and now he is back home.

I am making some baby quilts, 1 for my niece and 1 for my to be grandchild (sex unknown).

I had to make 120 little indians for a friend's mother, she is 91 and she provides all the little hand outs for all the senior citizens.

Trying to winn the mega lottery, so I can quit my job, pay off bills and then there are 5 of us that want to open a crafting sewing embroidery and wood craft making store that would include classes.

Not Doing Much Crafting at the Moment

Sorry everyone- I haven't been doing much crafting lately.
You know a full time job, busy with a wedding, taking care of my son's dog,  going to another wedding, doing yard work now that's it quit raining, painting  the deck all the things that get done on the weekend.

Hopefully my husband will start working some Saturdays so I can have some ME time, I so badly need it.

I bought a new desk to load up my embroidery machine on with all kinds of little drawers to hide all my stuff in. Hopefully will be getting that next weekend.

Went to the flea market on Sunday and got some cartridges for my E2 can't wait to get into those.

Got family out in Iowa that are worried about being flooded out, some live in S. Sioux City NE, my daughter lives in Council Bluffs, IA, ( right near the Missouri River), some in Dakota Dunes, SD, they have the greatest chance of all to be flooded.

So things have been CRAZY lately. BEAR WITH ME PLEASE!!!!!!!!

Sorry for not Posting a Project

Hey Guys,

Really sorry that I haven'f posted a project.

Since spring if finally here and we are trying to do stuff in between the rain.

I have cut out facepiece bags for my local fire department that they have ordered and I need to get them finished, because they really need them.

Working on small retaining fences for our river rock around our yard.

Took the day off Friday, not to spend in the craft room-but to paint the deck-have 1.5 days with no rain. Had to get it painted due to concrete going to be laid for the hot tub.

I want to make some canisters using the large plastic containers that coffee comes in from Sam's- gonna paint them alternating colors and make stencils from my new E2, that my wonderful husband got me (some friends twisted his arm). I am gonna paint them with the plastic spray paint  in Deep Blue and an Off White. I was thinking of alternating from the blue and white. Using the opposite color for the lettering. WHAT DO YOU ALL THINK?.

Have food carriers made to post. Hot potatoe cookers for the microwave (love this)

Hope full I can put something up later this weekend.

Just a note!

I posted my photos Sunday night after completing my projects and was in a hurry.

As you can see some of the picturers are not upright--I have figured out how to edit them so from now on they will be upright.
